SO, I've been wanting to do an LJ entry for the past FOREVER, but this is going to be completely pointless because I only remember ONE thing that I wanted to say and that's a little story my religion teacher told us during class that my peers and I found humorous but none of you probably will because I'll most likely tell it crappily... ANYHOES.

My religion teacher had this boy in her class from last semester that had given her tons of trouble and had eventually LIED to her and she FOUND OUT. Then when she tells him, "You shouldn't lie in religion class" during their class, a BOLT OF LIGHTNING strikes down RIGHT after she said it, it couldn't have been more perfectly timed. The boy never gave her any more trouble after that XD

OKAYOKAYSO. I got this BOOK called "The Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark" and it just so HAPPENED to be written by the co-author of "Peter and the Starcatchers" (or something vaugely along those lines, I have the book in my bookcase, but that is a library in itself and I am NOT going to look through there just to find a out a book's specific title @_@;;;), which was I book that I adored. Ridley Pearson, is his name and when I saw it in good ol' Target, there was a gift card to waste, so I was all "HEY" to my mother and forced her to buy it ASKED her if I could get it :3 ...The reason I got it also probably has to do with the fact that I've never been to Disney World and a fantasy-esque book about it is about as close as I'm going to get to the real THING. (*SOBWOEAGONY* D':) That, and it had a neat cover.

Well, when I got home I realized that Ridley Pearson is not going to be someone I'll be scrabbling to get at if he happens to do a BOOK SIGNING.

HE CREEPS THE HELL OUT OF ME. The picture in the back of the book has got to be the creepiest-looking man I have ever set eyes on! He's got this malicious grin on his face and the lighting of the picture makes one side of his face look nearly completely engulfed in SHADOW. He FRIGHTENS me D: And I'm reading his BOOK which isn't all that GRAND. Beginning confused the HELL out of me. Everything moves way to fast and I'm all "FTW SLOW DOWN YOU PEDOPHILIAC HO D:" But there was a late opening today so I had time to read it at my Nana's house and got to page 63 ._. I'm going to give it a chance, I guess. Up until the last page. Then, if I don't like it, I won't read the last page :D But I was flipping through it, and I think I read like, the biggest spoiler of the book .___.;;; Not the ending, but still >_>;;

OKAYOKAYSOTHEN :DDDD My book geekery is taking over so I'm going to tell you about the books I plan to get at the library tonight (Oh yeah. You heard me. I'm so cool I go to the LIBRARY. On a SCHOOL night. With my MAMA. BURRRRN D:<) 1984 (LOL BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU >:DDD) by George Orwell (Animal Farm was the SHIZZ), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey which is set in an Oregon asylum and "serves as a study of the institutional process and the human mind." As Wikipedia states...

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was a direct product of Kesey's time working as an orderly at a mental-health facility in Menlo Park, California. Not only did he speak to the patients and witness the workings of the institution, he received electroconvulsive therapy and took psychoactive drugs (notably LSD, psilocybin, mescaline and DMT) as well as the same drugs as the patients to gain a deeper insight into their lives.

AND Catchet in the Rye just BECAUSE and Lord of the Flies because I borrowed it from a friend and never got to finish it because I had to give it back to her since it was the end of the school year :X;;; And maybe I'll find an Edgar Allen Poe book thingie. I wanna find Yoss again, too. I hearts that book. I'll be busy readin :3 I would go out and BUY all of these books but I already have enough that I haven't read and probably never will ._. (Magic Tree House, the hell, why are you still in my bookcase?)
