Tonight actually turned out to be a good night :D I came home pissy and was being bitchy to my mom, and then when she went outside to feed the gods I went to go practice my piano. I immediately fetl better :3 And I thought that my piano teacher would be unhappy with the way I play it now, but she likes it. Said it was close to how she wanted me to play it anyway, but I didn't remember :X We argued especially alot tonight, but it's the fun kind of arguing X3
I HAVE TO DO ANOTHER CHRISTMAS FTW. Carol of the Bells I played for her, and she didn't say if she wanted me to practice it more or not 'cause it kind of sucked since I crammed in piano playing the fifteen minutes or so before we had to leave (I had only practiced, like, once that week, ACTUALLY TWO WEEKS cause I couldnt go last time because it had been changed to FRIDAY and we had the concert that month. So, yeah. I can cram practicing and still pass. But I still srsly need to practice more D: ANYWAY~)
YEAH, so thinking that she would be pissed off at me was stupid. Because I always manage to pull through and she still loves me. And she gave me two packages of GUM for my birthday (plus a little card-thing), but I didn't let mom see otherwise she would be all, "NO GUM GAWD YOU HAVE BRACES GEEZE DDDD:<" It's still in my piano bag. I need to go fetch it later. When mother isn't in the EXACT same room as said bag <_<
OHYEAH, otther Christmas songs. Right. So, I still have to practice Carol of the Bells and she taught me (or rather played first, then left me on my own, righting my wrongs DX) ....Uhh... hmm... OHYEAH.. wait, no... *has to go look* OH. Here Comes Santa Claus :D I KNEW IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH SANTA ><; and Barbara put a stupid little obnoxiously YELLOW sticky note on the page so now I have no excuse not to practice it. I'MMA DO BETTER THOUGH, WITH THAT PRACTICIN' YESSIRREE.
And sometime during my practice, i was about to open a page to one of my piano books and just FREEZED when I heard Barbara say that she was RETIRING.
My face: ._____________.
So that's a bit of an exaggeration, but yeah. THEN, she said that she just told that to the students she was "letting go"cause they're lazy asses like me but I pwn so she loves me and that she was only keeping five students which included meeeee <3 Which was so much of a relief after hearing those words because I do NOT want another piano teacher ._. Barbara's in her late sixties, though, I think and she's already starting to lose it a bit. D: She's still always full of energy, though~ <333
...Hmm, what else to cram into this pointless entry about my piano lesson...
AHYES. Barbara saw the two songs that I printed out to learn sometime 'cause they're full of awesome. The first one was the ORIGINAL (not the dumbed down to a shamefull degree one that i learned ohsolongago) Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin. she said I could learn it after Christmas. Or I might just teach it to myself like I did with most of Moonlight Sonata first movement by Beethoven... whichialsoneedtoworkonshit >_> She hasn't asked me about it recently, but I wanna play it for her without mistakes and ufll of heartwrenching emotion before... before... I DUNNO JUST BEFORE DDD: And the other song is... a... Mozart piece, I think... lemme go look... Ah~ Sonate 16 in C Minor Sonata facile. I heard a sample of it on mah tablet ('cause you make songs with that thing, full of awesome) and looked it up to get the sheet music. SO I'VE GOT CRAP TO DO :X
Annnnnd went to BJ's to get cookies for mah party in English tomorrow. And a pretzel. I love their pretzels (almost as much as Wawa pretzels IDIDNOTJUSTSAYTHAT :o), although this one got burned on its butt. But it was still doughy and yummy. And it burned my tongue <3
